How We’re Honoring Black History Month

Make A Purchase and Make A Difference

In honor of Black History Month this year, we wanted to do something with a little more impact and intent, especially given the ongoing pandemic, the events in the country over the past year, and the struggles many have had to endure. With that in mind, we thought there was no better way to honor this occasion than by supporting and promoting a truly worthy cause.

As such, and being that we’re in the throes of a harsh winter here on the East Coast, we purchased every employee at The Experience Design Studio a new pair of socks from the Bombas Black Hive Collection. These socks were made by the Black Hive, AKA Black Bombas employees, which includes creators, designers, marketing minds, and more. The socks are made with bold, vibrant colors and patterns that reflect what they are, a joyful creation of Black futures, and an inspiration to strive for everyday excellence.

Every item purchased from this collection means you’re donating an item to one of the four below organizations working to combat root causes at the intersection of homelessness and systemic inequality, which Black Americans are disproportionately affected by.

  • A Second U Foundation
  • Sister’s Circle
  • National Bail Fund Network
  • The Marsha P. Johnson Institute

Join us in supporting this great organization that celebrates the creativity and compassion in the Black community.
